Description
PEG (Patuxent Environmental Group, Inc,) is a thirteen year old built environment performance consulting company that specializes in energy, environmental and engineering analysis of all types of buildings. PEG specializes in building data collection programs such as Energy Star, for which PEG schedules, mans and maintains data input for more than 170 inspections per day in 18 States. These inspections manifest nearly 7 gigabytes a day of data that is uploaded, analyzed and stored on PEG’s 8 terabytes of server capacity. PEG also manages commercial and multi-family benchmarking and energy auditing for large portfolio holders. For State agencies and utility companies, PEG manages demand side energy efficiency programs for a variety of building types; one example being the MEA (Maryland Energy Administration) and DHCD (Department of Housing and Community Development), PEG, as a State approved Green Grant auditor, manages low and fixed income property assessments for the MEEHA and RHPP applications for EmPOWER grants to help older properties improve their energy efficiency.
